Protected forts, tombs and palaces need Archaeological Survey of India or state archaeology on top of city police. Drone over a monument is often refused — we say so before you storyboard it.
Registered drone, licensed pilot, airspace and local police. Border, airport and military zones in J&K, Ladakh and parts of Rajasthan need extra lead time.
Himachal, Uttarakhand and parts of Rajasthan sit on forest land. Rest houses and park edges are slower than town police. We put it on the calendar.
City police: days to a couple of weeks. ASI monuments: plan weeks. High-altitude and border districts: longer. Send the date and we reverse-plan.
